Part Four under the Editorship of Sri Aurobindo 28 May–22 December 1907 On 2 June 1907 the first issue of the weekly edition of Bande Mataram was published. Issued every Sunday, the weekly edi- tion was intended for circulation both in Bengal and in other provinces. It consisted mostly of editorials, articles and news items that had appeared in the daily edition the previous week. Between June and December 1907, Sri Aurobindo remained the principal contributor to and chief editor of the daily as well as the weekly edition.
